Comfort me Back  is a liniment for topical use.  Liniments are alcohol base formulations that have been infused with herbs. Circulatory stimulating herbs are often chosen with additional support of anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic herbs.

This formulation was extracted through percolation, to yield a potent formulation using ethanol as solvent.

Liniments are especially useful for treating the extremities where the joints are not covered by a substantial amount of muscle or fat tissue.

INDICATIONS:

Lumbago (pain in muscles and joints of lower back), sciatica, pelvic neuralgia, electric-like or shooting pains, spasms, chronic rheumatism, myalgia

HOW TO USE:

To apply pat or rub the liniment into the affected area over a period of 5 minutes, applying more liniment every 30 seconds or so as the liniment absorbs.

FOR BEST RESULTS:

1) Wrap rolled gauze or clean cloth around the afflicted area. If the afflicted area is large like the chest or front of the shoulder, place a gauze pad over the injury and tape down the edges.

2) Wet the gauze or clean cloth with the liniment so it soaks through to the skin.

3) Cover with saran wrap, an elastic bandage or more rolled gauze or gauze pad and leave on for several hours or overnight.

CAUTION AND CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Liniments are for external use only. Liniments and plasters should not be used simultaneously. Liniments may be applied with a heat lamp. Liniments should not be applied to mucous membranes such as the eyes, genitals, or mouth. Liniments should not be used on open wounds, cuts, or abrasions.

Liniments should not be used on the lower abdomen of pregnant women.
